Color Me Mine

We went to Color Me Mine on Tuesday.

Emmy picked a little cup.

She did pretty good, but was VERY busy....then she discovered the sink and water.

Erin picked a heart plate.

She is very careful and has very creative ideas. She enjoys painting A LOT.

 Grandma Grow and I picked mugs.

Grandma did a GREAT job on her mug even though she was worried about painting.

Our "works of art" will be ready this weekend. Erin is already having a hard time waiting. I will post pictures of the final product sometime next week.

Hairspray

Erin, Grandma Susan and I went to Hairspray the musical last night.Erin was so funny. She sang to every song and was dancing to most of them in her seat.

It was a really fun show and the actors did a great job.

One of Erin's favorites was "Amber Von Tussle."

To Market We Will Go

BEETS !

Jed and I canned BEETS today!

Bud gave us a five gallon bucket of BEETS..... now I know how much one side of my sink holds.

It was a "bloody" mess.

I think I only made 3 phone calls to Jed's Grandma for help (Thanks Kathleen!)

So we only got six jars done today.... I ran out of vinegar.... so I should be able to finish the other six tomorrow.

Wow! No wonder I've never canned before.
