Here are the pictures I thought were cute of the kids.

I guess the RV show takes a lot out of you!

Erin & Emmy at 2 Years

Just a glance back at Erin at 2 years old. I think both the girls look similar, but they couldn't be more different in personalities. Erin did not like to get dirty, she was very careful and when you told her "No" she stopped. Emmy loves to get dirty, she is very destructive and when you tell her "No" it's as if dared her to do it even more.

My New Talent???

Ole brought his Didgeridoo in and tried to teach a few of us how to play it.
The Didgeridoo is a long, slightly conical wooden instrument, used traditionally by the Aboriginal people of Northern Australia. Known as the oldest wind instrument in the world, the origins of the didge may go back as far as 40,000 years. Though only one "note" can be played with the didge (called a drone), overtones and vocal sounds from the player give it a rich sound and countless textures.

Erin's First Time Skiing

Jed took us skiing yesterday, up at Alta.
Erin for the first time and me the first time in almost 8 years.
Erin did really good. Better than we thought she would.

The snow was great!
Erin did get nervous on the ski lift, but I think she got off better then I did.

I think we will be doing much more skiing in the future. We had a great time!

One Good Thing

One good thing about my job in the Boonies..... the view as I drive to work. I just got off of my 7, 12 hour night shifts and I was trying to think of positive things about my job. Five minutes from my house and all you can see is THIS. I love it! No houses, buildings, people.... nothing. It's beautiful.
