Jed and I canned BEETS today!
Bud gave us a five gallon bucket of BEETS..... now I know how much one side of my sink holds.
It was a "bloody" mess.
I think I only made 3 phone calls to Jed's Grandma for help (Thanks Kathleen!)
So we only got six jars done today.... I ran out of vinegar.... so I should be able to finish the other six tomorrow.
Wow! No wonder I've never canned before.

congratulations, you are amazing!! I hate canning. I don't do it, I just buy stuff in the cans.:)
Thanks! I didn't know what I was getting myself into... not sure how much canning I'll be doing in the future. Case lots are looking pretty good!
