It was time for Jed to get a hair cut.

Emmy loves to help in the kitchen.

 "I See!" She says.... I get a chair so she can see.

"I Do It!" She says.... I let her help.

I think she licked the spoon a few times in the process.

Let Them Eat Cake

No special occasion, just something Erin wanted to do. She did most of the baking herself. She read the instructions and put in all the ingredients and used the beaters all by herself.

I think the hardest part for her was waiting for the cakes to cool so she could frost them. Of course the little sister had to do it too.

Here is Erin's masterpiece! She is getting so grown up.

Remember the little ski day I went on in February?

The one where I hurt my knee but I was sure it was just a sprain that would get better soon. 

Well, it turns out that I tore my ACL and medial meniscus. That means surgery.

There goes my dreams of becoming a Pro Skiier! Just joking :)

Easter 2010

We went to Grandma Susan's for Easter Dinner.

Then we all played the Wii. Here are some pictures.

The Sleep Over.....Who's idea was this again?

Erin had a couple of friends sleep over last night. WOW, why do I forget how sleep overs go? Who's idea was this again? All craziness aside it was ok and the girls all had fun!

Off to the "Hardway Ranch" in Lehi.

On our way back to Fairfield.

Emmy fell asleep in the truck. We dropped Misha off at her house and then Erin fell asleep on the couch. Wheew! It was a fun and crazy day!

Les Miserables

Erin and I went to see Les Miserables (school edition) at the Scera in Orem. It was put on by High School Kids. They did a GREAT job! I loved it... but I think Erin was a little too young for it.

During the play she did a great job and was very behaved (the play was 3 hours long). She loved all the girls' parts and their singing.

Erin asked A LOT of questions afterwards on the way home.

"Why were the Inn Keepers mean to Cosette?"

"What were they fighting about?"

"Why did so many people have to die?"

"Why did the little boy go to fight?"

etc....

I will have to take her again when she is older.
