I wanted to get some pictures of the girls in the fall leaves so we decided to drive the Alpine Loop. Jed and I have not been on the loop for probably 10 years... it was a scary drive! There were SO many people and we were in Jed's truck and the road is real narrow. After all that, we find a spot to pull off and try to take the girls pictures. Didn't work out so good, oh well. Later we met up with the Townes family and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. The fall leaves were beautiful, the weather was perfect, the friends hilarious, the kids were kids and it turned out to be a fun day in the canyon.

aren't the leaves beautiful! cheyne said the same about the crowded road. they had to come home from hunting down the provo side (they were pulling trailers). guess everyone had the same idea. glad you had fun! welcome home!
