HAPPY SUMMER TIME!

Our summer has been so much fun. These girls keep us busy. Erin is such a good helper and is always willing to keep Emmy happy by dancing infront of her, giving her toys or just talking to her. Emmy is lucky to have such a great big sister.

Erin went on her first horse ride in the mountains today. It was about a 5 hour ride. She did good until Ivy (the horse she is riding) hopped over a stream. It scared Erin, but she hung on tight. The rest of the way was filled with more drama. But we all have a good time and hopefully will be going on many more rides this summer.

We went to the carnival yesterday in Eagle Mountain. Erin rode all the kid rides, went down the big slide and even rode the faris wheel all by herself. She got her face painted, her fingernails painted and also got her picture taken with a bunch of girls dressed as princesses. It was a fun day... even if it ended with Erin's balloon floating away and her having a meltdown over her lost balloon.

Day #2 of the Kiddy Pool..... we already had to patch it this morning, but it seems to be holding ok. How many hours can a body be soaked in water????

Not my favorite thing..... my head still hurts from trying to blow that thing up. Jed rescued me by borrowing an attachment for his air compressor and finished the job.

Erin loves it! We tried to put Emmy in it, but it must have been too cold for her because as soon as her feet touched the water she began to cry.

Emmy is 5 months old now and is soooo active. She is rolling over and is always wiggling! She loves her saucer. She is eating mush and baby food and is getting so big. We just love her easy going personality, her smile, giggles and baby kisses!
