Sunday Bowling

Amanda and I took the kids bowling.

This was Emmy and Misha's first time bowling.

All the kids did great and everyone had a good time.



My New Pumpkin Patch

 Last year our pumpkins and squash took over our garden, so this year we've made a spot just for them.

This is looking at the front. I tried to re-use old material and do it as cheap as possible. All the poles are from old fences from around our place and the neat gate used to be my Grandpa Wilson's gate.

Here is a look from the side. The pumpkin patch is pretty big. It's the entire area behind my silo and the kids playhouse. I'm pretty excited. I think it turned out good and rustic.  Matches our place.

Emmy and Bella

Emmy loves Bella and always wants her picture taken with her. They are perfect pals....both are tough little trouble makers.

Classic Skate Night - St. Patrick's Day

Emmy wore little kid skates so we could lock the wheels in one direction. She got right out there and walked-skated.

She loved to skooter more! For about 1/2 hour the skating rink was pretty empty and she would skooter all over the place.

Erin was pretty excited! I don't think she realized how "rolly" the skates would be.

She was tougher than I expected. She took a lot of falls and got creamed by another skater once. I think a few more times skating and she'll get the hang of it. Maybe she could become a Roller Derby Girl!

Erin had two of her friends come skate too. They all had a great time.

51 Shirt Challenge

I was doing the girls' laundry today. I asked myself why, when there are so many shirts, only the same few get worn over and over again? Between birthdays, Christmases and hand-me-downs ... Erin has 51 shirts (not including jackets or dresses). I'm going to challenge Erin to wear a different shirt every day starting tomorrow!
