All the girls dressed up and looked beautiful.

The girls were very behaved and tried hard to use proper manners. They had a lot of fun. Thanks Kaiti for the great Tea Party.

Scottish Games

We went to the Scottish Games at Thanksgiving Point this weekend.

We watched some of the strongman competitions.

One of the contestants even gave the girls his medal.

Erin got half way up this climbing wall.

We got to see a HUGE owl.

and enjoyed a lot of music....one of my favorites was Kirkmount.

Erin wanted to dye her hair. She bought the dye and picked it out herself. Her aunt Mindy put it in for her. It's NOT permanent and will wash out after 20 washes. We braided it and left them in over night and ... wa la!

Update

I'm attending physical therapy 2 times a week. I'm still on crutches but I'm trying to work on putting weight on my leg. Hopefully I can get rid of the crutches by next week. I'm crossing my fingers I'll be able to drive next week as well.

My stitches were removed yesterday. I only had 3 of them. 2 little ones and one LONG one that hurt pretty bad being pulled out (I'm a baby, I know).

Jed has been AWESOME! He has been helping me so much. Don't you think he would make a CUTE doctor?

The Knee Continued....

Well, yesterday was the day for my knee surgery.

I have some really good nurses at home to take care of me.

Meet Bella

So they finally got me talked into getting a puppy.

This is Bella, she is a miniature Schnauzer.

Erin and Emmy just love her (until the novelty wears off I'm sure) and are taking good care of her. I'm not sure I am ready to go through the puppy stage again...it's been too long.

I have wanted to get another Schnauzer because I used to have one when I was a kid. Here are a few pictures of her....

Her name was Bridgette. She was a GREAT dog!
